In 1948, the Canadian National Railway commissioned Tug No. 6 to help provide a vital link between Kelowna and fast emerging, South Okanagan fruit growing communities. Freshness and time-to-market solutions would prove a critical part to the local fruit grower’s early success as they slowly cultivated a reputation for quality around the world.

Over 75 + years later, Tug 6 still embodies the pioneering spirit of its namesake and its legacy continues to inspire Tug 6 Craft Coffee Roasters in their mission to deliver a uniquely West Coast, specialty coffee experience.
