When choosing a coffee worthy of representing the birthplace of coffee, we treat the search almost like a love story. Each year, we wander through this extraordinary land, meeting its growers, tasting its harvests, and looking for the one coffee that captures our hearts—a bean that embodies the rich traditions, the soulful complexity, and the beautiful diversity that Ethiopia is known for.

This year, that coffee is our Biru Bekele single origin. Roasted lightly to let its true character shine, it offers a honey-like sweetness and a bright, crystalline acidity that feels almost luminous. Its mouthfeel is one of the most enchanting parts—silky, layered, and perfectly intertwined with soft citrus notes, like sunlight filtering through morning mist.
