Dear Customers
Although full-scale strikes have now been replaced with rotating strikes, we are still aware of some disruptions occurring with our deliveries. We have been informed that the union and its members have resumed negotiations late last week, and after both sides met with the labour minister in charge, that major restructuring is inevitable in the coming weeks and months.
This will undoubtedly cause further delays, inconveniences and possibly larger strike action in the short term. As a result, we will continue to rely on our alternative third-party logistics partners to deliver to homes across Canada, and for those with direct access to front doors, little to no disruption will be realized. For those who live in apartments or condos, please ensure that you provide additional information, such as buzzer codes, that will help these couriers deliver packages to your homes.
You may also receive notifications to schedule a pickup at your local depot if deliveries are not successful or unattainable.
PLEASE ENSURE YOU CONSTANTLY CHECK YOUR NOTIFICATIONS AND TRACKING IF YOU ARE EXPECTING A DELIVERY FOR SUCH COMMUNICATION.
You may also want to consider switching delivery addresses to alternative locations where couriers have the ability to deliver directly to a person or a secure area. We continue to offer pick-up services at both our Roasting Works and Victoria offices for those who want to avoid deliveries altogether.
We thank you for your patience and appreciate your continued support during this challenging situation.
Yours truly,
Craft Coffee Canada Team
